Jacqueline Piland completed her undergraduate studies at the University of Central Oklahoma, with a B.A. in Political Science and History. She eventually transferred to Georgia State University, and graduated with her law degree in 2001. After graduation, Jacqueline began to work for one of the largest defense firms in the Southeast. After representing insurance companies for over five (5) years, Jacqueline began to realize that by zealously pursuing her client's suits, she was further injuring people who were already suffering. As such, she was soon hired by Gary Martin Hays to represent injured victims and their families. Jacqueline is not only licensed to practice in all of the courts in the State of Georgia and Oklahoma, she is also licensed to practice law in the United States District Courts (Northern and Middle District) and the United States Court of Appeals for the 11th Circuit. Jacqueline is married, and has two children.
