BIG WHEEL RALLY FOR RELAY A HUGE SUCCESS!
April 2, 2007
"We did it! I am still very, very sore but still riding that emotional high" says Attorney Gary Martin
Hays. Hays, along with Tim Cicciarelli, Derek Hays, and Philip Milam rode their adult size big wheels for 48 straight hours around the Arena at Gwinnett . "It was our goal to build awareness for the great works of the American Cancer Society, and also to encourage people to participate in the upcoming Relay for Life on May 11th and May 12th." In addition, Hays wanted to raise money - lots of it for the American Cancer Society. Through donations and proceeds from a silent auction, Hays's team helped raise over $27,000.00. Not a bad return for pedaling for 48 hours on big wheels!
